At Casa Colina, good food is important to us. We pride ourselves on serving the very best freshly prepared, home cooked meals every day.

All meat served at Casa Colina is either free range or organic, eggs are from our own chickens, and we grow many of our own vegetables. Wherever possible, all other ingredients are locally sourced.

Breakfast

A substantial Spanish breakfast is served each morning either in the main house, on the terrace.

Choose from a selection of cereals, fresh fruit and toast & preserves. Why not have some eggs from our own chickens. Our speciality here at Casa Colina is 'Revueltos con Chorizo' (Spanish scambled eggs with spicy chorizo sausage).

Dining out

There are various restaurants within a short drive of Casa Colina. Some of our personal favourites are:

El Pantano - overlooking lake Vinuela and Mount Maroma, a typically Spanish restaurant serving a reasonably priced menu of Mediterranean dishes

El Molino de Abuelos - stunning views and flamboyant food at this well known Comares hotel. And be prepared for spontaneous dancing..!

Chez Spice Indian Restaurant - with amazing views over lake Vinuela, this unusual half brick/half tent restaurant serves excellent authentic Indian cuisine

Casa Ortega - a very friendly Spanish bar & restaurant, just a couple of kilometres away. As well as a full menu of dishes, their speciality is their own delicious home produced lamb.

El Trapiche - a very reasonably priced restaurant, serving a 3 course lunch for 8 euros
